The short answer: it depends on the package, the delivery address and how many days you keep it. The long answer fits on this page. Location Karaoké Québec shows fixed prices online, and the availability checker calculates the exact delivery fee for your address before you ever reach checkout. Here is everything that goes into the total, item by item, with no surprises.
The package: the biggest part of the price
Three packages, each covering one night, and each base price is listed on our pricing pages. You choose by venue and guest count, not by budget alone.
- Home Superstar, for private households only, recommended for up to 20 guests. Speaker, two microphones, a basic party light, and it plugs into your own TV. This is the package for a living room in Sillery, a basement in Beauport or a chalet in Stoneham. Details are on the Home package page.
- Event Basic, up to 40 guests, for an office, a party room, a restaurant, a reception hall or a community hall. Same gear plus a 22-inch screen, so you do not need a TV on site.
- Event Superstar, also up to 40 guests, with two wireless microphones, deluxe lights, the 22-inch screen and an 80-inch projector. This is the one for big halls and office parties where you want the lyrics readable from the back of the room.

The delivery fee: based on driving time
Delivery fees start at $29 and rise with driving time from our Quebec City base. An address in Limoilou or Sainte-Foy costs less to deliver to than a chalet in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier or a hall in Saint-Michel-de-Bellechasse at the edge of the zone. The same logic applies to Lévis and the rest of the south shore. Event packages carry a slightly higher delivery fee than the Home package.
We do not publish a flat fee per municipality, because two addresses in the same town rarely have the same driving time. Enter your exact address in the availability checker and the amount appears right away. The delivery areas page lists approximate times for Lévis, L'Ancienne-Lorette, Boischatel, Lac-Beauport, Neuville, Pont-Rouge, the Côte-de-Beaupré and the rest of the zone, which reaches roughly 45 minutes from downtown on both sides of the river.
If your address is outside the zone, you have two options: request a delivery quote, or pick up the equipment yourself and bring it back after the party.
Extra days, December and add-ons
Each package covers one night. To keep the machine longer, say for a chalet weekend, add days when you book: $99 per extra day for Home Superstar, $199 for the Event packages.
A surcharge applies on Christmas-period dates. December sells out early anyway, so book as soon as your office party or holiday party date is known. Like everything else, the surcharge shows before you pay, not after.
Add-ons are available if your room is large or your crowd is loud: an extra speaker, wireless microphones or a second 22-inch screen. Each add-on is priced when you book. If you are unsure, remember that Event Superstar already includes wireless microphones, so compare the packages before adding options. Taxes are calculated at checkout on the package, delivery and add-on total.
Quotes, invoices and payment
For individuals, online booking takes Visa, Mastercard or American Express, up to six months ahead and no less than two days before the party. For a business, an organization or a venue, request an event quote: approve it by email, pay by invoice through a secure link with no deposit, and add a PO number if you need one.
The cancellation policy, in plain terms
Plans change, and the policy is the same for everyone:
- Cancel more than two weeks before the date: full refund, less 10%.
- Between two weeks and 48 hours before: 50% refund.
- Under 48 hours before: no refund.
In other words, if your Quebec City party date is still up in the air, confirm it before you book, but do not wait too long in December. During the rental, phone support is included, and a replacement is sent if a fault cannot be fixed remotely. That is part of the price too.
